My name is Wilmer Bultemeier.
Since 1991 I have driven Gr Marque Mercury automobiles. 3 of these were purchased at Germain in Naples, Flo In my early years in Florida, I drove back and forth to Indiana and enjoyed the good ride from these Mercury's.
In November 2010 I was having my 2005 model serviced at Germain in Naples, I wandered to the Big Lot and noticed a 2006 model Gr Marque with 18,000 miles on the lot. A sales employee, Alberto Ramos, approached me and invited me for a sales drive. I did not buy at that time. About 3 weeks later, driving by, I noticed that the car was still in the lot. I stopped, a sales person approached me and a sale was made.
When I settled a different sales person was assigned.
The next day several things were found to be not right such as cruise control not working, number to open door not working, floor mats in trunk not proper ones. I stopped in and Alberto Ramos walked by, mentioned my purchase and wanted to help where he could. When I told him about the items not being correct, he took complete control and took me to proper places to get things corrected. I mention to him that I did not think he got the sale because of the time lapse and being assigned to someone else. He said this did not matter, he wanted me taken care of.
Several days later I filled up the car the second time and found 13 miles to the gallon on the 150 miles I had driven. I was sure because I checked full tank versus full tank. I stopped in and Alberto Ramos walked by and said is everything OK. Again he directed me to proper place to have this checked out. I realize you have proper chain of command with proper people looking after proper things, but this Alberto Ramos wanted to make sure things were right.
This is my first used car purchase since 1951. I have been leery of used car lots, but want to relate that my experience with the Big Lot was good, mainly because of Alberto Ramos.
